Tobias Janowitz, Associate Professor at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, and co-lead of the CANCAN Team* of Cancer Grand Challenges 

  • *CANCAN Team is Cancer Cachexia Action Network of Cancer Grand Challenges, funded by Cancer Research UK and National Cancer Institute. The Team aims to deepen understanding of the mechanisms underlying cancer cachexia and develop therapeutic strategies that could reverse it. By working across the spectrum from the lab to the clinic and back, the team hopes to improve the outlook for patients with this debilitating syndrome.
